FAQ

Fair questions.

Is this just ChatGPT with a login?
No. A chatbot answers questions; GeniusMentor runs a lesson. You leave having learned it, not having read it.
What subjects and classes?
School academics for Class 6–12 with full prep for JEE, NEET, and IAS. Plus a question mode that works any physics or maths problem you type in, and a skill track for AI & machine learning, coding, data science, digital marketing, and finance.
My child is under 18. Is their data safe?
Yes. For under-18 learners a parent or guardian sets up the account and gives consent before any learning begins, in line with India's data-protection law. You can review and delete your data at any time.
Do I need to pay to start?
No. You get free learning minutes to try it. No card required.
Is it in Hindi?
You can learn in English or Hinglish (a natural mix of Hindi and English).
What are "learning minutes"?
Only the time the tutor is actively teaching you: a lesson playing, or your doubt being worked out. Quizzes and your progress profile don't use minutes.
How much does it cost?
₹0 to start, with 15 learning minutes every month. Paid plans are ₹999 a month for 150 minutes and ₹1,999 a month for 750 minutes. Full details on the pricing page.
Do unused minutes carry over?
No. Your allowance resets each monthly cycle. If you run low mid-month you can top up anytime.
Can I cancel?
Anytime. Paid access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for, and there is no lock-in.
What about refunds?
When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the billing period already paid. If something went wrong with a payment, write to hello@geniusmentor.ai and we will sort it out.
Is there an annual plan?
Yes. Annual billing gives you two months free compared to paying month to month.
What do I need to run it?
A browser. GeniusMentor runs at app.geniusmentor.ai on a laptop, tablet, or phone. Nothing to install.
What is the Digital Twin?
A learning profile the mentor builds of you: which explanations click, what you tend to forget, how you like to learn. It is why lessons feel more personal by session ten than by session one.
How do parents stay in the loop?
Under-18 accounts are set up and controlled by a parent or guardian, and sessions produce plain-language reports: what was learned, and what needs work.
